Milo terms and privacy

What Milo is

Milo is an automated, AI-assisted matchmaking service that connects people who need work done with people available to do it, by text message. Milo introduces people; it is not an employer, staffing agency of record or payroll provider. Hirers make their own hiring decisions.

Texts and consent

By replying YES or checking the consent box, you agree to receive automated texts from Milo about jobs or candidates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, HELP for help, or HUMAN to reach a person. Consent is not a condition of using Milo.

Milo is free, and never asks for money

Milo is free for workers, always, and free for hirers during testing. Milo will never ask you for money, bank or card details, Social Security numbers or photos of your ID by text. If anyone claiming to be Milo does, it isn't us.

What we collect and why

Your phone number, your messages, what you tell us about your work or your hiring needs, and screening answers. We use them only to match you and to improve Milo. We share a worker's first name, screening summary and availability with a verified hirer only after the worker says yes to that job, and contact details only after both sides say yes. We don't sell personal information.

AI

Milo uses AI to talk with you, organize what you share and rank possible matches. A person reviews Milo's messages during testing. Milo never uses age, race, origin, religion, sex, family status, health or immigration status to match people.

Deletion

Text DELETE to Milo or email the address below and we'll delete your information within 10 days, keeping only the record that you consented and opted out.
